Rubyyy Jones Show Pony tribute to vintage circus!

The May sessions of Life Drawing Rubyyy Jones were “Vintage Circus” themed. I was astonished at the costume Prinx Lydia created for Rubyyy, an homage to Victorian burlesque lady Eliza Blasina. And made almost entirely of re-used thrifted and upcycled materials!

We need them so much.

I finally caught some sessions of Life Drawing Rubyyy Jones this winter, including January’s “Historic Queer Artists” and February’s “Freyja” session. You know once I heard there would be cats modelling, well!

It was before WW3 finally broke the surface, when I was most concerned about Omicron BA2, what’s happening in Kabul, ongoing suffering in Syria, and the famine in the Horn of Africa. A month ago seems like a dream now, after the thousand-year February of the tank advances.

I’m a goddam wreck. I got nothin. I know art helps me, so I’m sharing art, and I hope like heck it helps you. I love you.
