ChipInHead is the blog of Suzanne Forbes, a crowdfunded documentary artist living happily in Berlin.
You can see thousands of Suzanne’s Creative Commons-licensed live drawings here.
Suzanne was trained as an artist at the Art Students League, Parsons, The School of Visual Arts and the Minneapolis College of Art & Design.
She was previously a courtroom artist for CBS and CNN, a penciller for DC Comics on Star Trek, and a live drawing chronicler of alternative culture in the Bay Area. Now she makes documentary art of queer culture and paints portraits in Berlin.
The blog header photo is a detail from a series of portrait photographs taken of Suzanne in her home by Mirella Frangella.

*This blog contains some republished content from Suzanne’s blog at a Bay Area website company, where she spent two years as the marketing manager, and some of it is pretty San-Francisco-marketing-y. You have been warned.
